I started running June 2023. I’ve completed the Indy Mini, Columbus Marathon and the Monumental marathon this year and a few 10k and 5ks. It was my first time doing the Hilly Half and this was by far the most perfect and lovely race I’ve ever run.Notnonly the gorgeous scenery, the awesome challenge of the hills but also how very warm and almost family like it was— amongst the runners as we ran and also afterwards at the lost race party with great food and music. I told my husband that I wish there was one every weekend. I am still mulling over how absolutely perfect that race was. Thank you for all your hard work. I am a Hilly Half fangirl now and will be back yearly, Universe willing. N.G.

What a fantastic first race! VERY challenging, great workout, wonderful company all along the course in both volunteers and runners. The organization, swag, and follow-up food and drink tent were excellent. You guys did an amazing job and I hope to run this race again. Many thanks to all. Susan Schloss Koenemann

Great day for this first time event. Well organized and good support for the runners during the runs. The first quarter mile is at a 5 degree grade, but the rest of the hills were 2 to 4 degree slopes, well paced out which made for a great run. Marty Ryan

Great race! Just a beautiful course and all the best of Brown County at the race. Food, live music, beer, and wood fires. Hard course don’t be fooled and really enjoyed the beer mile! Kirstin Maguire
